I have two Multiplus II 24/3000 2x120 units connected in split phase configuration feeding an Autotransformer for load balancing. I have 50 amp 120/240 split phase input as my shore power. L1 of shore power is connected to L1 AC input of the master phase 1 Multiplus while L2 of shore power is connected to L1 AC input of the slave phase 2 Multiplus. When inverting, the Multiplus units properly show L1 and L2 AC loads as expected in VRM, Victron Connect, and the local portal. However, when on shore power only L1 AC input and L1 AC loads are shown. L2 input and loads are at 0 watts. I know this is incorrect because I have power on L2. I have a Hughes Power Watchdog surge protector wired into my shore power input before my Victron system, and it shows loads on L1 and L2. I am able to operate appliances on L1 and L2 as well as 240v appliances on shore power.
Is there some setting I have to enable for proper load reporting from the Multipluses? I have a virtual switch for ignore AC input setup to maximize usage of my solar array. Without L2 loads reporting, I am worried my excess load condition would not trigger a switch back to shore power. This may not be too big of a deal since I have the autotransformer for load balancing. However, I would like accurate power usage statistics because by only reporting L1 loads my true usage will be about double what VRM logs.
