Solar panels set-up

Hi everyone, I was wondering if I could use 2x300watt solar panels each with maximum power voltage of 18.4v and maximum power current of 7.44amp and 1x300watt solar panels each with maximum power voltage of 18.8v and maximum power current of 16amp. I have a 100/50 amp victron mppt smart solar charge controller could I put all solar panels in series or in parallel set-up. Looking forward to hearing from you

I have questions as 18.4 x 7.44 is significantly less than 300W? Are you sureabout the spec? 18.8v x 16A is definitely 300W.

It would be better to parallel them if their VOC is similar. If you series then the 7.44A will kill the performance of the 16A one.

BUT at 18v you are barely 5v on VOC above battery voltage and will struggle to keep charging. Best check the spec again. They can’t all be 300W.

It looks similar to a standard 12 V panel, with a Voc around 22 V and a Vmp near 17 V. The stated voltage (Vmp ≈ 18.4 V) supports this. For a 12 V battery, wiring all panels in parallel would be fine. If the setup includes two 150 W panels (≈300 W total), those could be paralleled and then placed in series with the 300 W panel. That configuration would raise the voltage but reduce the available current by about 4 A, limiting total current to roughly 14.9 A.

This is my 12V panel below 200W.

Thanks for your input

Yes on my description on the panel it has 300watt vmp 18.4 imp 7.44 voc22.01 is 7.79 this is for 2x300watt solar panels. The third panel 300watt with vmp 18.8v imp 16.0 voc 22.4v is 20.5a.
