Hello, first time poster using SmartSolar 100/20 MPPT controller. My charger seems to be stuck at a certain wattage. I have 2 identical days with identical solar conditions. First day charging went as expected with valleys and peaks up to 240 watts. Now today under identical conditions the charger plateaus at 160 watts the entire day and my battery is slowly discharging (because my load is a constant 200 watts, connected direct to battery not the controller.) There is definitely over 200 watts available at the panel right now yet charging refuses to approach that power level. What could be going on? 12 volt battery is at 12.28 and dropping with max setting at 14.5. The only thing I can think of is the battery was low at start-of-day yesterday but today battery started full so charger went to absorption mode for a brief time in the morning. Is it stuck thinking the battery is full for the day so throttles the power to 160 watts? Is this logic documented somewhere? How do I wake it up?
Edit: Just tested the panel with my MPPT tester. 31v (mppt voltage) 230 watt peak. But charger is stuck at ~23v and doesn’t seem to want to go higher, only lower when it scans for the MPPT.
