My installation on my boat:
2xSmartSolar 100/50
2xSmartSolar 50/15
And a Smart shunt 300A under the floor close to the battery bank. Only 2 meters to the MPPT.
The smartshunt signal réception at the MPPT is too weak and intermittent. The connection is often lost which disturb the charging cycle reaching Absorb phase too early as the real voltage at the battery has not yet reach the threshold.
I have moved my smartshunt the closest I can to the MPPTs to improve transmission but I can’t do better and it is not enough.
My question : can we put Bluetooth dongle on a smart shunt to relocate the BT emission point and not the shunt itself?
