Smart Shunt doesn’t see MPPT, but MPPT sees Smart Shunt

I have a Tag trailer that came stock with a curved rooftop solar panel and a Victron 75/10 MPPT controller. I added a Smart Shunt and set up a VE network via Bluetooth so they could communicate with each other. This has worked great for the last 2 or 3 years.

Except now it doesn’t work anymore. The 75/10 says it is using voltage and temperature data from the Smart Shunt and also shows the Smart Shunt being in range. However, the Smart Shunt no longer shows the 75/10 in range. Both devices are properly connected to the same Bluetooth VE network and the Shunt says it is broadcasting temperature, voltage, and current data.

I’ve tried the standard troubleshooting steps including rebooting both devices and deleting them from the network. Still no joy.

The trouble seems to have started when I added two more charge controllers, a 75/15 and a 100/20. As part of that process, there were a lot of firmware updates. All completed successfully. I electrically disconnected the two new controllers to remove that complication from troubleshooting, but that didn’t help.

I also note that upon initially adding the two new controllers to the VE network, the Smart Shunt could see all three MPPT controllers, though connectivity wasn’t perfect. All three would sometimes show an orange Bluetooth icon with a seconds indicator. All went back to a green check mark relatively quickly. After confirming that the network seemed to be stable, I disconnected the battery for the evening. That was the last time I was able to see the 75/10 on the E network from the Shunt.

Any wisdom on how to fix this?
