Skipping power-in because of size. Alternative?

Hello,

I’m installing 2 victron lfp 24x200 Ah ng.

If I install Class T fuses next to the batteries, is there a reason not to connect both directly from the fuse to a single Lynx bms ng ?

I’ve considered other options like the class T power-in, or no power-in but 2 bms’s in parallel. But run into space limitations on my boat.

Kr,

Thierry

I have an install on my boat with 2 x 12V 300Ah NG batteries and a Lynx NG BMS and distributor on the BMS outlet. Like you I did not have room for the Class T power in. I purchased 2 BEP Class T Fuse holders and some BEP Pro Installer Links. I had to mount 1 of the fuse holders about 5mm higher and connected them to the BMS positive lug. This is working well. Attached is a photo of the set up on the work bench before installation. You can not see the BEP links as I have a 3D printed cover. I am sure it would be OK to connect the Class T fuses to the BMS lug with cables. Both negative cables connect to the negative lug. There is also a sketch which you should be able to follow showing the 2 links between the BMS and class T fuse holders.
