Shelly Plus 1 PM shows up in Venus OS. But not showing any watts on Dashboard AC loads

I am using the Shelly Intergration in Venus OS and my Shelly Plus 1 PM shows up and is set as an AC Load as AC Outlet L1. In Remote Console i can see the watts, volts, amps etc being measured. But on the dashboard nothing is showing in the AC Loads section. (on the advanced screen the watts show up on the graph )

If I change its role to PV Inverter it shows up on the dashboard as a PV inverter and the same watts and an AC Load. But this is then adding to my PV Charger Watts and making my Total Watts more than is should be. Hope that made sense.

What do I need to do to set it as an AC Load and for it to show on the dashboard as an AC Load?

The dashboard does not show individual acloads.

It will just show the consumption as calculated by the system. If your devices consumption is not cought by the regular metering, it is not seen as consumption.

I don’t have a Victron inverter, was hoping the Shelly measurement on my inverter output would show up as an AC load so my consumption would be recorded on the VRM. Seems daft to set it as AC load on the output side but it doesn’t show up on the dashboard as a AC load on the output side.

It is not added, because a victron inverter measures that on its own.

The purpose of having dedicated measurements for certain consumers is just to be able to break down the overall measurement into “loads of interest” and “base load”.

That’s a shame, when I found out about the Shelly integration, really hoped my consumption was finally going to be able to be recorded. But I’ve managed without it being recorded and no ac loads showing on the pretty dashboard diagram for 3 years.

Sorry for that. But hope you can relate that the Victron Remote Monitoring is tailored for Victron Inverter behaviour, where “adding” acloads to the measured consumption would make that value be added twice.
