Is this only possible via LAN out of the gate? (do I have to physically be at the install?)
This is in a travel trailer and while we have Starlink, we tear down and stow when the rig is in storage. I’d like to be able to SSH into the Cerbo remotely over the Internet. Can I set this up remotely and Putty into the device over the Internet WITHOUT making a trip to the site to change settings/install keys? I’ve set Superuser, root pass and remote help.
I want to install the style sheet to remove hotkeys for remote console (dedicate iPad mini for telemetry). Already have a Touch 70. Possibly important to note this is NOT a Pi, it’s a Cerbo GX.
Ultimately trying to get to this (without using zoom function of iPad)
On my new Cerbo gsx after firmware update is doing the same as yours - no input on grid side and blank on AC loads. My inverters displays the same information as yours. In my case it has AC loads and multipl has grid feed and shows values in device list just not on main display. Any ideas on how to fix it?
I believe you may have replied in the wrong thread, or possibly misunderstood the question in my post. In the attached picture, I’m not connected to shore power and my inverter is off.
as far as I know the GSM device is only for connecting to VRM portal… And VRM portal has no option get to the console of cerbo. I am pretty sure that ssh port 22 isn´t proxied like VRM does for example to reach Signal-K installation (port 3000).
My solution to achieve what you want is that cerbo is part of a network which is always online through GSM/LTE router and I have a VPN connection… Of course instead of VPN you also could allow SSH access via firewall rules in your remote GSM router.
