Viewing/using a Cerbo GX without Internet?

Working-up a small system with a SmartShunt, Multiplus and a Cerbo GX and I was shocked that the Victron App insists you “log-in” to access the Cerbo UI!

All the other devices can be managed via the app and Bluetooth or VE.Direct
USB interface, so what’s the point of having Bluetooth on the Cerbo if it’s walled behind a login?

What would a remote user do if they didn’t have Internet access?

Ideas?

P.S I realize that the HDMI display allows offline functionality, but it seems insane that the the app can’t locally mirror that over Bluetooth…

Did you read the manual?

Figured-out the local Wi-Fi connection and the obscure: “Remote Console” link, but ooof, the interface is painfully sluggish!

I have a generic HDMI monitor attached to the Cerbo GX, so I’m not sure if that slows-down the UI.

In any case, weirdly convoluted mish-mash of supported protocols, etc.
