Hi Folks, We’re currently having difficulties connecting a remote device to our Cerbo. The device says Cerbo is offline, all the cables on the Cerbo seem fine and there’s a good wifi signal in the house. What do I do next?
Thanks
Reboot the Cerbo. There is a setting to reboot after x minutes without a connection.
For reboot go to the Menu > Settings > General and press reboot, no need to mess with wires or reset buttons.
For loss of comms setting go to Menu > Settings > VRM online portal
Thanks pwfarnell
Where is that menu? Is that via Victron Connect? Can’t seem to find it.
Those menus are on the Cerbo GX device, either on the touch screen or remote console on another device or via VRM.
Touch the screen, this should provide a button to get to the menu or settings.
There’s no screen on the Cerbo. Tried via my VRM account and can’t see those settings re’ the Cerbo.
You can also acces this on your local network:
venus.local
If you are on VRM then you have to choose Remote Console from the VRM menu (image below), but you have to have input a setting on the Cerbo to allow VRM 2-way communication or full communication locally first, which you need to do locally as noted above by @DuivertNL Connect locally then you can set everything up.
The Cerbo Manual is linked below
Quita la alimentación de cerbo gx un momento, y vuelva a conectar.
