I’m looking to purchase the 375VA 12-Volt 120V AC VE.Direct Pure Sine Wave Inverter. This will be for a remote solar power installation at the Mojave Airport in California, and I’ll be operating the system remotely from here in Washington (via Starlink). There is a mini-PC at the Mojave location also. Can I turn off the inverter remotely through the use of the VE.Direct to USB Interface cable to the PC? I don’t need the inverter on all day, and I’m concerned about the no-load current draw on my 300 Ah battery there. I would rather turn it on remotely to operate the controller of the radio telescope when needed.
