Remote console no longer works

Hi.

This morning I was asked which UI I wanted when I tried to open the “remote console”.

The old or the new UI — strange, as that is normally configured.

After the usual loading, it was accessible.

Because the Wi-Fi was acting strangely, I restarted it.

Since then, I have no longer been able to access the “remote console”.

Restarting the Serbo GX and disconnecting the power twice have made no difference.

The same goes for the Wi-Fi: restarting it and disconnecting the power made no difference.

I can see the VRM “in real time”.

All values are indeed refreshed regularly.

Using the same Wi-Fi connection between the Serbo and the laptop, I can access the “remote console” after entering the address provided by the Serbo into a browser.

This address of the Serbo GX had changed after restarting it, by the way.

In other words, everything is functioning properly, but I cannot access the “remote console” via the VRM portal.

After trying to “fetch” it for a long time, I get the message “Check if your GX device and your browser have a working internet connection”.

Yet “real-time” data is being sent? (This can be seen from the moving blue snake and the accompanying message.)

Check whether anyone else is involved (phishing).

Solved:

  1. Set the classic UI in Serbo.

  2. In VRM, click “New UI” under “Remote Console”, and it will then work even if classic has been selected in Serbo GX.

  3. If classic is selected in VRM, “Remote Console” does not work.
