Quattro shut down during programming in ve config

Hello!

I’ve made four threephase setups with Quattro 1 15kva recently.

All running latest firmware.

When changing the inverter pre alarm setting three of the systems died while connected to ve config. Only the pre alarm was changed and only modified settings sent. Same thing with mk3 and via vrm. ”Low battery” LED lit up. They kept contact with ve config and took the modified settings, but had to be restarted with the toggle switch on front.

The last one I made an effort to speed up the process and the inverters stayed on.

This concerns me as it would be impractical to adjust this setting remotely if no one is there to physically reboot them.

No warnings in ve config that the inverter would restart or so.

Running with a cerbo GX and BYD lvs.

Any ideas what might cause this?

Bonus question; I find that the pre alarm triggers very easily when loading the system in off grid. The victron/BYD manual says 51V for pre alarm, but even when only loading 12kW I got a pre alarm with decent SOC. Not a big deal since I can adjust this down, and alarms for SOC are configured in the cerbo.

If you took alot of time to do the programming then that is likely the issue.
Loss of BMS contact…

You say that they are offgrid. Are you using ess at all? If not adjust the setting down.
The ESS assistant uses a much lower voltage in the pre alarm to suppress it a bit (ess overrides the prealarm settings.)
Then use shut down on soc to prevent total shut down with no reserve for inrush to start up again.
