Hello all, I was checking the Quattro 8000 settings for a client recently and noticed the Power Assist was set to 0.7. The client had been having some problems with a Fischer Panda generator failing under shock load and I was surprised to see a Power Assist setting below 1.
My understanding is that for Fischer Panda inverter generators the Power Assist should not be set to more than 1.3 but setting below 1 to 0.7 isn’t something I have seen before.
This led me to wonder under what circumstances would a Power Assist setting of below 1 make any sense? I am having trouble understanding how a setting of Power Assist below 1 could ever be a good thing. Could someone provide some clarity on this unusual setting?
