Quattro ESS with Grid and Generator, 3 Phase

Has anyone successfully achieved ESS functionally with Quattro 48/10000, 230V using the grid and generator as the inputs?
In my case the grid is on AC IN 2 and the Generator is on AC IN 1, 3 phase system
Cerbo FW 3.52, Quattro FW 2653522
The two main problems are

1. The discharge current capacity of the BYD LVL battery is severely restricted with no obvious reason which results in unnecessry grid import.
2. The generator does sync but is very unstable - hunting audible thro the Quattros. I have eliminated the generator as an issue.

Any pointers appreciated?

You can restrict discharge in the ESS menu. It may be set there under limit inverter power.

I assume you have done the usual set min soc in case of grid faliure much lower than the percentage we see in the screenshot
