Seeking your advice on an issue where the generator would not kick in, even though we can autostart it and we have AC power on AC IN 2 on Quattro.

Take off the ups function on the grid tab.
If you notice when you run the ess assistant it actually remaives that setting.
Are you off grid or on grid?
Did you try the dynamic current limiter?
I would remove ESS.
Then follow the ideas here.

Is there any voltage on ac1 at all? If there is then disocnnect.
If the above is not true then, did you also remove the grid code when removing ess?
Under the inverter on the gx, when the generator running what do you see on the input?
Is the voltage what you measure with a meter?
Is that from ac in 1 or acin 2?
What i am saying is it won’t connect to acin 2 if there is any voltage from ac in 1 there.
On AC 2. Good point. Let me check this out.
Thank you @lxonline @nickdb! Indeed it was presence of very weak AC on AC IN 1 that was stopping it from kicking in. You guys rock!
