Hello everyone, I have a problem with my wallbox.
I have an EV Charging Station with display from Victron.
Everything is configured together with an ESS system and everything worked great until yesterday.
When I connect the car and want to start the charging process on the wallbox, “starting” appears and after a few seconds the charging process stops. The car says charging canceled and the wallbox does not give an error. This happens reproducibly.
I have already tried CP calibration and a different charging cable. Without success.
I have now connected the car to a Heidelberg wallbox, where everything works as usual and the car charges without any problems.
I have also restarted everything on the Victron system, no change. Communication with the GX device is also OK.
The software on the wallbox is up to date.
Can anyone help me
Many thanks in advance.
does nobody else have this problem? My customer have an eGolf and have similar problem. Charging starts not reliable after multiple times starting the charging process and disconnect and connect the cable! The internet connection and electrical connections are working
Please help, since I cannot further install Victrons EVCS, if I am not sure about its reliability
Same (to some extent at least) here, but with a Stellantis car.
3Ph mode works reliably, but single phase starts with a short power surge (likely precharge of the cars onboard inverter capacitors) and then goes back to 0W and stays there.
Car is working just fine single phase with a Juice Booster.
i have the same problem with EVCS with screen - newest firmware and my e-golf 2018 is charging only couple mins and than stops charing - like the car was fully charged. But is not. Calibration heps for next start proces and again the same … anyone solves this?
Plugging the connectors with more strength solved this problem on our side. There is a shorter pin which is called CP, this one must have contact.
Another points to play around are:
Contactor active when charged: When the EV is charged the contactor can be set to remain closed or to open which will fully disconnect the EV from the supply.
