Power returned to the grid does not correspond to the actual returned power

After installing a single-phase Carlo Gavazzi energy meter (ET112) to monitor the yield of my solar panels, I notice that the information on the VRM dashboard no longer matches with the information on the Victron Remote Console.

It looks like the output power on the VRM dashboard is the sum of the effective output power shown on the Victron Remote Console and the measured power (via ET112) of the PV installation.

As soon as I disconnect the USB connection between the Multiplus II GX and the energy meter, the problem is gone. But then I don’t see any output from my solar panels either.

Below you can see the structure of my installation:

Another issue is the following:

On the dashboard, the solar panel system is connected to the Multiplus output, whereas in reality, it is connected to the grid connection.
I also cannot see my essential loads, even though it is in use.

Is there anyone who can help me with this?

What role did you configure the meter as?
Did you configure the location of the PV in GX settings?

The energy meter is configured in the remote console as a solar panel yield meter.

The settings are made internally on the Multiplus II GX.

I once reversed the input and output on the energy meter. When you do that, the generated power is displayed as negative on the dashboard and the Remote Console.
The intention is to measure the output of the solar panels, not the grid.

PV wiring diagram from the manual.

That’s how I connected the energy meter.

Indeed. It was for everyone else’s reference.
Or at least that is how your wiring diagram is, you would be surprised by how often and easy it is to accidentally make an error.

yes you both are right! My mistake!
