Make Cerbo detect a newly connected Phoenix

Hi, I almost the same issue as in this topic:
https://communityarchive.victronenergy.com/questions/166498/deregister-devices-from-vrm-and-register-new-ones.html

I don’t want to change my inverter permanently, but to temporarily connect Phoenix 24/3000 to a Cerbo, instead of the Multi II 24/3000, which is my primary inverter.
I need to connect the phoenix only to be able to download its config and to reconfigure and upload it back, also update its firmware and then to move it to another location witch has no Cerbo or network coverage.

Ok, but no matter how many times I delete the installation in VRM or how many times I reboot the Cerbo and I chose “Find PV inverters” from Cerbo’s remote console (Settings-> Gneral), I don’t see the phoenix detected and my Multy is always present, no matter it’s Off even before the first connection of the Phoenix.
I can remotely switch the Phoenix through the Multy soft switch, but obviously the Cerbo “thinks” the P is M…
How can I make Cerbo forget about Multy for a while and scan for Phoenix, really?
PS: The Phoenix is even connected to a separate Ve.Bus port of Cerbo in order not to be “confused” with Multi, but to no avail.

The GX device should show multiple inverters and inverter/chargers in the device list and be controllable by its menus there, but only the “main” one will show in the overview pages.

The Find PV inverters is looking for solar to AC inverters not DC to AC inverters so won’t find the Phoenix.

You may have better luck disconnecting the Multi and rebooting.

I can’t remember where the stock code stands but originally inverters connected via VE.Direct were not integrated into the overview. GuiMods does attempt to do so.

Is it a Phoenix Inerter or a Phoenix MultiPlus? Can you add a picture of the device.
Open the front cover and make a picture of the main control PCB.

I guess the Phoenix is just to old:

Remote VE.config needs a minimum FW of 418.
Remote FW update needs a minimum FW of 426.

I think you will need a MK3 interface or maybe a MK2 interface if the Phoenix is to old.

I;m sorry guys for my late response, but I was at the mentioned remote location without communications there .
Kevin, the Multi was shut off, Cerbo was rebooted countless times and so on.

Thanks Matthias! I apply here the Phoenix’s photoes you requested.
I connect to it using its VE Bus port.

on the photo with the 2 inverters, the one “above” is the Phoenix in question.

Will the MK3 interface work with this version of Phoenix? I just ordered one.
