Orion XS recognizing when engine is not running

It states that the Orion XS 50 amp will automatically recognize when the engine is not running and will shut down and not let the starter battery be depleted.

Is this built in, so I do not have to do anything, or is there an additional cable needed? If so, how is it connected. Thank you. Ian

Covered in detail in the manual, you can do it via battery voltage so it only works if the starter battery is above 13.0V for example or wire it to your ignition switch using standard wire.
