I am in the process to convert my Sailboat housebank to LiFePO4. I would like to be able to completely disconnect all loads including orion xs Bluetooth functionality when not on board while solar would keep charging the starter. Now I am a little lost how to ground the solar circuit to not create a loop/maintaining battery combiner functionality and if a non victron shunt should also be wired like the smart one from the manual. Alternator stater wise i have the factory in line connection as well as a seperate + - connection to the alternator/should i use the in line or paralell circuit. If someone could help me not to burn my boat that would be much appreciated :).
Your diagram looks correct for shunt, Orion and solar functionality. Any shunt needs locating in the wiring the same as a SmartShunt. I have no idea on the alternator, model specific question.
