I have a new Orion XS 12-21V|50A|Non-isolated installed in an Airstream equiped with Battleborn LiFePo4 batteries and a 2022 Lincoln Navigator. The XS Engine shutdown detection believes that my engine is hardly ever running. So obviously I have some things set incorrectly; here are my settings:
It more likely the start one it’s not reaching that or not reaching that for long enough, or not keeping it under load… Usually 13.8v is high.
For the most part the default ones are good. Sometimes inrais the curly off a bit of the battery rests higher.
As an aside, you’re probably familiar with the discussion about the internal wiring of Battelborn batteries and the bug, er, “feature” that shuts them down when the plastic plate melts (see Will Prowse’s video and the fires involving other campers with Battleborn battery systems).
