Orion XS double reported output

The Orion is working correctly, but since im using a shunt on the ground to measure my other dc chargers, its counting twice.

If i unplug the data cable it reports correctly.

Does anyone know of a way to disable it from reporting?

I don’t want to unplug the cable since that was the whole point i got this over another 50a charger.

How exactly is the Shunt connected to the battery and the other things?

There should be only one cable connecting the battery negative to the shunts battery terminal, all loads and chargers need to be on the load side of the shunt

The shunt is setup as an DC energy meter not as the shunt.

The issue is the shunt is reporting the Orion output (no way around it since the orion is non-isolated) and the Orion is reporting the output via the VE cable.

I want to keep the cerbo control of the orion, but disable the output reporting over the VE cable.

Can you please add a wiring diagram?

I tested connecting the orion negative between the shunt/lynx and shunt/body. Which made no difference as expected.

You can see in the gui screenshots my usage and charge rate go up the same amount since it’s double reporting the orion output.

Thats how its meant to be installed

Again the smart shunt is NOT being used as a shunt. Its setup as a DC energy meter to measure the other chargers.

If you want to keep that, then the shunt needs to be in the negative path of the other chargers, not in the path of battery to body

Pretty sure its still going to count crap since the other two are non-isolated either, their negative will only carry a small current

Whats the SmartBMS doing in parallel to the orion? Are they charging both into the lithium bank?

The only issue i have is cerbo double reports the Orion if i connect the VE cable.

I just want to know if anyone has a way to disable the orion from reporting over the VE cable.

The rest of the system has been in operation over a year, with no issues.

Does anyone know which file this would be in so i can edit it out?
