Orion XS - Battery charging via alternator (starter battery) or through shore power

I am looking for a way to have the LiFePO4 household battery in my camper charged by:

  • Orion XS : alternator / starter battery when the engine is running, and not connected to shore power
  • Battery charger: shore power (220V), when connected to shore power

Can I simply connect the Orion XS and the Battery charger together to the battery? Probably not a problem when there is no shore power. But when connected to the battery charger / shore power, could there be reverse current through the Orion XS towards the starter battery?

Any advice is more than welcome! Thanks a lot in advance!

Yes , you can connect all chargers in parallel, the xs is no exception.
