Orion Smart 12 12 30 paralleled units not operating

I’d be grateful for some advice please.

On our boat I had a single Orion Smart 12:12:30 battery charger attached to the FLA start batteries and configured to charge two domestic Victron 330ah Lithium batteries when the engine was running. This worked well.

We have re-engined and now have a more powerful alternator (115A), so I bought two new identical Orions and wired them in parallel with the original. I’ve configured each identically to the original. All 3 appear in Victron connect and indicate that they are charging. However at no stage do the green lights on the new Orions light up and its clear that only the original Orion is putting out any charge.

I’ve rewired each several times so I’m pretty sure the wiring is good.

I’d be grateful for any suggestions.

try testing each one individually first.

Thanks Mike, I have done that but no joy.

remove the units, bench test then RMA for warranty.

you can always put a multi on the output to see if its throwing anything out that way. if there is nothing been thrown out I would disconnect the units for about 2-3 mins the just put one back on to see. if nothing take it off and head to your retailer for them to run some tests and submit a RMA.

Thanks Jesse: tried that but not voltage on output, also tried resting then replacing: no improvement.
