I’d like to integrate my OpenDtu (or my second one) via a virtual inverter. Unfortunately, I have no idea what I need to do or how to do it, as there are no instructions. Can you help me? I can’t select a phase yet; I hope that feature will be added later. Is Phase 1 the default? How do I send the MQTT values from the OpenDtu to the device, or how do I modify them so they’re in the correct format? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
What should I configure with this information, and where? Do you have instructions for that?
The wattage is missing here, but I think it’s being calculated in the background and also in the other menu. Where can I check the functionality? What am I doing wrong that the power output isn’t correct?
They mention this in the linked dbus OpenDTU git’s issues when discussing multiple OpenDTUs:
For now, you can simply copy opendtu to opendtu2 and start it. So you will have 2 instances of it. This is how it runs in my installation.
I bet it won’t be an issue to run an extra service in the system unless your system is already very very strained from running a lot of Node Red and such.
