off-Grid system being charge limited when a generator is ON

Hello, I have a problem with an off-grid system consisting of three Multiplus 24/3000/70 units with 24V 1650Ah OPzS battery, a 4.5kW Fronius Symo inverter, and a CerboGX.

Everything is connected, and the solar charges the battery, which discharges when there is no solar.

The charging on solar works correctly and it uses as much as it can to charge the battery

But when the Generator is running (This is a 7,4KW Generator), the charging current does not exceed 40A.

Furthermore, when the generator is running but there is still solar power available, it seems that the solar energy is being used by the generator instead of the battery.

On the multiplus is configured ESS and PowerAssist

this behavior is the same with the battery at 40% or at 88%

Do you know what might be wrong?

You should NEVER use ESS with off grid system.
Exporting power to a generator can terminally damage the generator.

I deactivated Exporting to the grid on the Cerbo because of that,
Before using ESS i was using “Support for FV inverter”, the behavior was the same

What do you think i should use instead os ESS?
