Multiplus-II 4k5 power assist with generator

Situation MultiPlus-II 4K5

We currently have a very interesting case at one of our custom installations in the house of a client.

The setup we’ve installed there is as follows:

3x Victron MultiPlus-II 4k5

3x Victron Lynx busbar

5x Pylontech US5000C battery (+/- 25kw of storage)

Newest firmware of the inverters

Our clients has his own ATS/LOM device, which detects LOM on grid.

When grid meets LOM the ATS automatically starts the generator, which is the ITCPOWER DG7800SE diesel generator

The generator, due to the fact that we literally almost don’t have grid-outages, standard isn’t connected. This is just a precaution for future grid instability and war (hopefully not).

The current situations as follows:
When we disable DESS, change AC1 to generator and lower de AC-IN limit to 6A the MultiPlus is not assisting everything above the 6A AC-IN limit. Which ultimately will cause a disconnect of the generator (the fuse will trip, due to the safety-settings of the generator).

We’ve already tried multiple settings, grid codes, STAGE 2 and 3 reconnect settings lowered, but nothing works. The 4k5 refuses to deliver any power from the batteries. They only will charge the batteries with the 6A AC-IN grid limit and that’s it.

Is there anyone who encountered the same PowerAssist problems with the 4k5 or perhaps we are doing something wrong?

Current settings, which won’t work:
