I’m using the Bluetooth dongle on a 24/500 inverter and for its price, €40ish, it is over priced and under specified.
In comparison I have a BM2 Bluetooth dongle battery monitor on the vessel batteries at £15ish. It records up to 30 days of voltage data. Trip data is stored much longer. All are viewed on an app and can be exported as a csv file.
I’d really expect the Victron dongle to do the same with the voltage, VA and W readings and log the fault codes. It would be useful.
A shame.
Perhaps Victron can update with a firmware update to do this??
I see that it records overload warnings but doesn’t include the wattage and how long it was elevated/in overload.
