Then I can draw no other solution than that the support to enter a pincode is not available on that type of tablet and that it can’t be used to communicate with Victron products over Bluetooth Low Energy.

I have the same issue with trying to connect to the Victron devices from within VictronConnect on my Samsung tablet. Everything works fine on my Samsung phone, but i’d like to bring this up on my tablet which has a much larger screen and is my primary device at the helm of my boat.
Connecting via Bluetooth should really not be this painful!
I don’t know who can fix this, but I’m afraid it’s too much of a niche thing for all the players (Samsung, Google as original author of Android, or Victron). I’m not an expert for BT LE or Android but would hope that if at all Victron could fix this somehow. But it’s a to small of an issue that they will free resources to do so.
