Noisely Battery Balancer - Battery balancer bruyant

Question : est-ce le comportement normal ? Y-a-t-il des relais dans un battery balancer ?

English
I recently setup 3 battery balancers on 48V DC system (lead-acid battery).

I noticed that approaching the 27.3V per battery balancer results in noisely vibrations, like a relay on/off at a low frequency ! Orange and red LEDSs are flashing at same noise frequency. Passing under or over those 27.3 volts just remove the noise.

Questions : Is this the normal behavior ? Are there relays inside this battery balancer ?

Merci.

Yes there are relays in the balancer.

Hello,

Thank you for the direction. So i’m suspecting some incorrect threshold or hysterisis cycles, and for unknown reasons limits are over what my battery balancers can perform. Maybe malfunction of their behavior.
I’ll follow them more in detail for following days, when sun will be back …

How is the DC ripple?

Hello,
Back on this point i think is solved now : The threshold for relays appears now almost only when large loads (2500W) are connected then disconnect few minutes later.

It seems that the batteries did need some long term balancing in order to stabilize.

Thank’s a lot to the community.
