Hi I have my Cerbo running for quite a while and it is wie ng fine with the ap and the remote console on VRM. However it whon’t connect to HA and also not to my new Android 14 tablet. The oassword is typed in correctly bit no connection. I am pulling my hair. Anyone an idea?
Make sure you got the write IP address, and what add on are you using for the Victron integration
Hi Daza, yes I have the right IP. I use the Victron integration.
I tried Victron MQTT, but it does not recognize the IP
Hi Sander,
the HACS Victron MQTT integration is very buggy and caused complete freezes of my HA-system.
Best way is to use the following one:
Victron GX modbusTCP integration
which is still a HACS-integration.
Best,
Wilm
PS.: And please use the IP–address of the Cerbo, not the DNS-name.
@Heidehaas it’s what @Wilm said about using the Cerbo GX IP I too am using the HACS add on but I’m hearing rumours that Victron themselves are looking at a home assistant add on which will be great can’t wait for @mpvader to join the HA party ![]()
I don’t understand anything about MQTT. Too complicated for me. Watched some tutorial video’s but I don’t know what they are talking about.
I already did everything noted above, with the integration, but it does not work.
I want to start over completely, but I cannot even delete the MQTT, nor the hacks integrations. Frustrating
Hopefully it will be launched soon!
