Hi, I’m new here and have spent the last couple of months doing lots of research but would like to run it past the seasons experts here.
The plan is.
2 x Multiplus II 48/5000 in parallel
3 x Gobel Power 16.5kw Lifepo4 Eve cell MB31’s with JK ESS 200amp BMS and 2a active balancer. They have 250a DC breakers.
This is for a home setup which has Solar Edge 5kw with 5kw of PV.
So I have all the above and have also been amassing the following bits.
Cerbo GX MK2
MK interface 3 USB
ET112
Lynx Power in
3 x Bussmann T class 200a fuses
3 x Blue sea battery isolator M series 6006 300amp
GX Touch 50
The plan is to use it on grid with a EPS should I have a power cut.
I already have Givenergy AC coupled and 21kw of battery which I installed and intend on removing this and starting again.
I’ve upgraded my consumer unit with RCBO’s and have split the 25mm meter tails to a new consumer unit with 2 x 63amp RCD’s.
Then 2 x 10mm equal lengths (2 meters) to 63amp AC isolators and then into the multiplus.
Then I was running 2 x 10mm back out of each of the multiplus AC out to a 4 way consumer unit with a 100 amp RCD to 25mm tails into my consumer unit, removing the DNO tails from the meter.
The plan with the batteries is the 3 batteries connected to the Bussmann T class 200amp fuse then into the blue sea battery rotary isolators all in 50mm2 cable. Then into the Lynx power in. Coming out the other side in 70mm2 cable into the multiplus’s. Keeping all cables the same length.
My first question is
-
Is this reasonable and am I heading in the right direction.
-
how is best to connect the Lynx power in to the 2 multiplus inverters?
-
I have no luck as yet finding the T class fuse holders that suit the Bussmann 200a fuses? Any suggestions please.
-
what’s the best way to connect the PV. I don’t intend on using the PV to charge as I’ll sell all my production to the grid. About 5mw per annum and charge the batteries overnight on my EV tariff. It currently feeds directly into the consumer unit but I think I need to run it into the multiplus? How do I manage the parallel setup with this method or do I need a Busbar to split the 2 into 1.
-
Any recommendations for any busbars I’ll need?
-
Is there anything else I need other than an earth rod and the fuse holders?
Thanks and sorry for all the questions.
