Mutiplus low battery alert at 13.15V

Hi,
I have a lynx BMS connected to a cerbo GX via the CAN bus, and the cerboGX is also connected to my Multiplus through VE.Direct.
These are the connections the multiplus has:

  • the VE.direct connection to the cerboGx
  • the DC connection to the BMS (2x2 50mm2 wires)
  • the AC in put and two AC output

If I power up the system, the multiplus shows a low battery alert, and the associated red LED turns on.

I checked with a voltmeter that there was power in my big DC wires, and there is (13.15V). My lithium batteries are full
I also connected to the Multiplus with my computer using a MK3 and I can see the multimplus properly detected it was dealing with a lithium BMS. the low battery voltage alarm is set way below 13.15V
Lastly I checked the manual which states that the battery sensor connection is optional.

Am I missing something here? How can I get the inverter to stop complaining ?

Are you using victron batteries?

Also the multiplus is ve bus to the cerbo (with a patch cable), which is totally different to ve direct.

As mentioned above, the Multiplus connects via VE Bus, make sure that you have the Multiplus connected to the VE Bus port on the Cerbo GX, there are many ports on the Cerbo using the same connector so make sure it is correct. This port does not need a terminator like the VE Can cabling. Check the BMS and Cerbo have terminators in the unused VE Can ports.
