Hi,
I have a 12V multiplus (to replace my failed 24V one whoop)
CPU has 2609154.HEX written on it.
I tried using VEFlash to update it and no dice.
I have “smart” lithium batteries (yeah, really, smart) and need the multiplus to grab the data from the ve.bus BMS.
HELP ME

To what version did you try to update ?
Have you disconnected ALL devices from the mp ?

What exactly is the problem?
veflash says something like cannot communicate with device.
it lights the temperature LED and the lower 3 LEDs on the left…
I guess thats firmware update mode…
firmware file is 2609552.vff
Pretty old device.
Not even on the old archive you’ll find that 154 version.
The archive contains software from 400 onward.
Take a look at this: https://youtu.be/GrPQ5z-hWbw?t=368

There is an extra video about the use of VEflash:
And an article here:
@jasontav you need to follow the instructions exactly step by step.
At which point do you get the error, please make a screenshot.
It’s important that you don’t have VE.config or VictronConnect running at the same time.
Hi, its fixed now.
I had left the ve.bus BMS connected…
