Multiplus II in Single Legged Mode as Energy Storage System

Hi all, in the process of getting quotes to get my multiplus wired to the grid (UK G99) , (option 1) one option is to use ac1 in as the ac input and the output back to the consumer unit. I appreciate that this will limit the ac out to approx. 20amps. If we choose this single legged mode can we also use ac1 or 2 for loads to supply a secondary consumer next to the inverter.

Yes, you can, look at the various schematics in the documentation. You can basically mix and match as you like as long as you respect the rating of the internal transfer relay (which is 32A with the MP-II 3000, what size do you have?)

Hi its the 48/5000 multiplus 2

Deleted my reply as @nickdb contradicted my answer in another post so I dont want to provide the wrong information while I seek clarity on this.

I had confirmation and as I thought.

As per the manual, the maximum peak output is the input current limit + the VA rating of the inverter, so it would indeed be 50A + 21A.
