Hey Guys,
I have an issue with two Fronius Gen24’s ac coupled on the output of a Multiplus II GX 5000.
The system comprises of two Fronius Gen24 3Kw inverters configured MG50 connected to the off grid system via the output of a Multiplus II GX 5Kw. The batteries setup is 32 x 240Ah Lifepo4 cells to make up 48V / 480Ah of storage.
The issues I’m having is that the system will bulk charge till it gets to around 82% and then the Multiplus ramps the frequency up to 52.1Hz to limit the power from the Fronius inverters and it stays there, never really getting to 100% SOC.
I have the following settings;
General;
State of charge when bulk finished: 95%
Battery capacity: 480Ah
Charge efficiency: 0.95
Charger;
Battery type: Lithium Batteries
Charge curve: Fixed
Absorbtion voltage: 55.2V
Float voltage: 53.6V
Charge current: 70A
Repeated absorption time: 1:00Hr
Repeated absorption interval: 7:00Days
Absorption time: 1Hr
PV Assistant;
VE.BMS: No
Restart PV inverters when lower than: 56.2V
Reduce output: 50.2Hz
Reduce to minimum: 52.7Hz
Disconnect: 53.0Hz
Total PV inverter power 5Kw
Total PV panel power: 5Kw
I would greatly appreciate any assistance anyone could offer on this issue.
