I have a small ESS system, 1 MPII GX on a 3phase system.
Because of existing wiring and space constraints the MPII shares its AC connection with a EVCS.
When Peak Shaving is turned on, it won’t peak at my max grid connection, it will go in full discharge when the EVCS is charging. I would rather have it Max out the 25A of my grid charging both as maximum speed available.
Inside Remote Control or VRM the load pulled from L1 (clamped) is shown as a critical one. As there is no clamp on L2 or L3 it’s shown as a regular load.
If Peak Shaving is off it will work as expected except for the loads/critical-loads view in VRM/RC
I have a 3x25a grid connection metered by a VM-3P75CT and solar panels are also metered by the same VM-3P75CT.
A 20A 3phase braker over 4mm2 cable connects my grid to my garage where the MPII and EVCS are placed.
A Current transformer is clamped around L1, as the EVCS + MPII are not to use more then 20A in total (see picture, red switch is main switch coming from a 20A 3phase RCBO from grid, the bleu RCBO goes to the EVCS, the 1 phase RCBO goes to the MPII)
The EVCS is set up on the AC IN side of the system, and ESS is set up as only AC IN connected.
Is this expected behaviour, a bug, or faulty settings?
Ive added some screenshots and pictures of the behaviour with Peak Shaving off/on, and the EVCS settings on AC IN/AC OUT, the MPII settings AC IN only or AC OUT also connected.
Connection:
EVCS: ACIN + MPII: ACIN only connected + Peak Shaving OFF
EVCS: ACIN + MPII: ACIN+ACOUT connected + Peak Shaving OFF
EVCS: ACOUT + MPII: ACIN+ACOUT connected + Peak Shaving OFF
EVCS: ACOUT + MPII: ACIN+ACOUT connected + Peak Shaving ON at 25A (doesn’t change with MPII or EVCS in different settings, so only one screenshot)
