Bug? :: Peak shaving feature in 3-phase MPII setup

Hello,

I have a 3-phase setup using new MPII 6k5 devices combined with DC 45kW EV charger connected at AC-IN side and house-hold AC-critical-load connected at AC-OUT1 side. DC charger can generate up to 63Amp per each phase while the public Grid connectivity is limited to 32Amp by circuit breaker. To overcome this limitation a peak shaving feature of ESS assistant is configured as follow:

AC-input-current-limit is set to 22.5Amp

Peak shaving is set to Always, Max-system-import-current is set to 25Amp.

Discharge Limit on BMS side is set to 600Amp

ESS mode is set to Optimized (without Battery life)

External Meter is used at the Grid side using VM-3P75CT

GX FW version used is: v3.70~61

The issue I would like to report is that system is capable to power boost L1 and L2 via AC-IN from the batteries BUT NOT the L3. The behaviour is possible to see on the video below.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you

I would have thought peak shaving to be set the other way around…

Hard limit on the input current, peak shaving starts lower…

By the way from the manual… Peak shaving onky works with battery life enabled.

Most common issue of sth like that is, that Unit 3 doesnt have the ESS Assistant installed and therefore isnt part of the ESS Power-Setpoints used.

Make sure (VE Configure) The ESS Assistant is also installed on Unit 3 and configured equal als the other 2 units.
