I have searched but have not found a simple specification of the MultiPlus-II “AUX RELAY” max acceptable through voltage.
I need to use it to drive an external secondary relay.
Alternative sources tell me that the voltage for the relay control is typically 12V DC and needs to be fused with a 2A fuse but I don’t know if the contactor itself can handle another relay or if it’s designed for voltages merely in terms of millivolts.
Thanks
Are you referring to the aux input? (M)?
What model do you have exactly?
It is mostly designed as a dry contact if it is the D.
Not exactly, it is the Auxiliary Primary Relay, we only have that real Relay.
The only alternative is the Auxiliary open collector K1 which I believe only works with logic levels.
Yes it’s the D, so as such anything can go through its contacts correct?
I just need to put 230v negligible amps, milliamps I think.
AC rating: 230V/4A
DC rating: 4A up to 35Vdc, 1A up to 60Vdc
Ludo can you state or link your source for the information? It adds weight to your answers.
Excellent, thanks
Where is this info? I could not find it in my manual
It is in the tech specs.
Note 5.
Weird ! I was going through it minutes ago
I’ll have to check that I have the correct manual
Yeah it’s in the fine print.
I just spent a few minutes hunting as well.
Programmable relay which can be set for general alarm, DC under voltage or genset start/stop function. AC rating: 120V / 4A, DC rating: 4A up to 35VDC and 1A up to 60VDC
