ho appena acquistato un MP2 24/3000/70 vorrei sapere se per poter utilizzare la funzione power assist ho necessariamente bisogno di acquistare anche il sensore di corrente opzionale (50A per la versione 3000VA).

I believe the external AC current sensor is needed only for when you want to feed-in or not. Otherwise, no.

so it is not necessary if it is necessary to limit the input current to the mp2? what is the minimum value that can be set at the input?
If you take a look at the MP2 manual, at page 34, it shows that there is an internal current sensor on AC-IN for exactly that.
I believe that the lowest value is 1A, but I may be wrong as I don’t have an MP2. Take a look on the configuration software.
