Multiplus 12 | 3000 hits overload immediately when turning on

Hi, replaced my old inverter, batteries in an upgrade to my camper.

The setup is 2 Battleborn 270ah batteries, Multiplus ii 12/3000 inverter, Lynx distributor.

The inverter overloads the minute it is turned on. After 30 seconds it attempts again, and hits overload again, I believe by design. I turned it off after that.

The rest of what is happening… batteries are fully charged, all connections are tight - from incoming shore power, batteries, inverter, lynx, etc.
The multiplus does not overload when plugged into shore power. Everything operates fine under that scenario. Green light.
There are no loads on the system - no AC, fridge, etc - everything is turned off.
I am using a 300a megafuse on the lynx distributor going to the multiplus.
Cables are 2/0 from multiplus to lynx and are 2 feet or 0.6 meters long.
I programmed the multiplus for the Battleborn batteries.

Thank you in advance for any help.

I would start by disconnecting the ac input and outputs from the inverter then see if it will turn on. If so, then start connecting things one at a time until the problem reappears. If not, you may need a precharge resistor.

I will try that later today. Hot here in Phoenix right now. Thank you for the ideas.

Well, that worked. Somewhere between my splice box and the AC breaker box panel there was a problem. Thank you for the help!!!
