Multi RS external control forcing PV to Idle regardless of Pylontech battery SOC

Afternoon all,

We have an issue with a new install where by a bank of Pylontech batteries (9 x 3000C) appear to be blocking the Multi RS from operating (set to Idle).

This is a duplicate of a few other systems we’ve done with the only difference being the Multi RS so I’m assuming this is where the problem lies.

We have a Multiplus 8kVA connected to a Cerbo via VE BUS, Multi RS on VE Can 2 and Pylontechs on VE Can 1.

All appear under devices so Cerbo sees them but I’m guessing the info isnt pooling through to the Multi RS from the Pylons.

Anyone experienced something similiar? At the moment we’re sat at 55% and only discharging.

Some development on this. We’ve tried all we can to get the units to charge and they are point blank refusing both via the solar and via generator.

The only other thing we’ve found since is that the battery voltage (around 51)on the multi rs seems to fluctuate constantly where as the voltage at the multiplus and the pylontechs are displaying as 49.1V consistently.

Im sure its something simple we’re missing but hopefully someone has some input before we leave the location today.
