Multiplus-II + Cerbo GX + SmartSolar + Pylontech UF5000 DC Load/Module issue

Hi there!

One of my installations has:

  • 1x Multiplus 2 (v563)
  • 1x Cerbo GX (v3.73)
  • 1x SmartSolar 150/75 rev2 (v3.18)
  • 2x Pylontech UF5000 modules (v1.1)

All is wired correctly and everything works except for the fact that when the battery is being used during ESS discharge, the appears to show half draw in watts from the battery in VRM/Cerbo and a mysterious negative DC load into the battery at the other half of the draw. That is to say assuming I’m drawing ~1000W, the battery will show a ~500W draw and the DC load will how ~ -500W being pushed into the battery.

I read the Pylontech victron link (Victron & Pylontech UP2500, US2000(C/D), US3000, US3000C, US5000, US5000B, UF5000, Pelio-L, UP5000, Phantom-S, Force-L1 & L2 [Victron Energy]) and I saw that the Cerbo doesn’t support UF5000 module capacity reporting at this stage. Is this the reason that it is showing this negative DC load in the VRM dashboard? It believes that the system is only 100Ah even though it’s actually 200Ah due to a reporting issue? Is this just a cosmetic issue that must be lived with until an update or is there a fix/workaround for this right now?

The system is using ESS and I configured the 48V scaled to the 16 cell setup of the UF5000 for the 51.2V that it has. Not sure if that may be related?
