Mp ii keeps switching between charge and power assist.
Input current is limited to 6A
Load is 10A
Why is the power assist switched off every 3-4 seconds and Victron starts charging each time.
Any suggestions?
If your Load was switching every 3-4 seconds then this would be expected. Maybe something thermostatically controlled? Or even some sort of sinewave chopper that’s causing weirdness?
Your system will be attempting to maintain close to the 6A Input. Is that stable or cycling. What is the load?

The load is a induction hob
I assume this load is pulsing and causing the switching
Yes, most induction hobs cycle between off and full power, so your inverter is responding to this.
