Hi, I’m testing a used Multiplus II 48/8000 for purchase and noticed this sound when the mains (supplied by another, off-grid inverter) returns. Is it normal?
That’s normal sound of relays self testing on power up or reboot.
And testing the connection.
If you had a wiring mix up it won’t connect. Buut you would hear several more (rapid clicking) attempts.
have u found a fix for this relay madnes?
im experiencing the same behavior randomly, mostly at night and cloudy days.
The fix is the supply to the inverter needs to be constant, namely either there or not and or rectify why inverter re-boots.
As this is normal behaviour, it is the disconnect relays(critical safety device) either testing on boot up or reestablishment of grid.
