MPPT 250 70 Temperature - Surface temperature showing 67c, the load was around 3.5kw (10x440w panels over the 2 strings).
Does anyone else experience high surface temperatures?
Have pointed a big fan at it and now its 55c, 3.7kw generation.
Yes I have also experienced high temperatures with my 250/70. The one I have was getting up to 70C and it was limiting my output when trying to reach full load. I designed and 3d printed a fan shroud for it and now the temps are around 43C. The fan is moving 17.5CFM of air across the fins. Iv got the fan plugged into the powered USB port on my Cebro GX (port seems to be rated for 500mA, the fan draws 300mA). This allowed me to get the rated 70A of output.
