Mopeka Universal Sensor Setting Not Holding In Cerbo

In version 3.60~86, after setting the value when full and capacity in the Cerbo, the value continues to reset itself to 20.0cm and 53 gallons. I have reset these several times. Through the Mopeka app, the values and calculations are correct. Anyone else seeing this issue? I have another Mopeka LPG sensor and it is not having this issue in the same setup. This does not seem to occur in the stable version

Hi, please keep beta issues for the beta category in the forum.
If the problem exists on production (you will need to rollback) you are welcome to clarify that and mention it here.

Sorry, habit.

Hey @Pgrv can you explain in detail what you do and a what point those parameters reset them self?

I can’t reproduce the issue. Using a Mopeka universal for the test.

Hi Matthis,

Since switching back to stable version and then to current beta version it seems to be holding the settings. I’m going to try removing the device and re-adding while on the beta version and see if it sticks.

I did just that as you suggested.

The values hold both in beta (3.6~86) as well as in stable firmware.

But in both they are lost upon rebooting the Cerbo.

Any way to make the mopeka settings persistant (holding after reboot)?

Hi Matthis and Phil,
I’m experiencing the exact same issue on a Cerbo MKII BPP900451100 with the latest Firmware v3.60 – June 10th 2025 (Production Firmware not Beta).
You can set the settings in the Classic UI however if you reboot the GX device all previous settings are lost which is most annoying will this be addressed in a updated firmware? Thanks

@mpvader looks like there is some legs to this, with this other topic seeming to have the same issues and a bit spotty. Mine has been holding so far. But looks like others have the same type of issue with different types of sensors.

Hi all, thanks for your reports and apologies that it took so long to respond!

Issue found, and fixed.

The issue was that since v3.60, in either all or some wireless tank sensor setups (= Mopeka), changes to the configuration settings were not stored properly.

So got lost after a reboot.

Fix is coming in v3.62~2 beta version. With a bit of luck still tonight. Would be great if you can then confirm that for all of you it works well - to make sure that there is not a second issue.

Thanks again, Matthijs
