Minimal profit setting

I’m on the latest beta using trade mode. (just updated to the latest beta from the .49 I think)
Could not find any release notes but observing the past weeks it seems to work way better.
solar to batt, solar to grid and grid charging I have seen can all be explained with the current cost profile I’m using. Only annoying behavior is the grid buy and selling with minimal profit when it is profitable according to the math but utterly silly because of the 0.0001 profit!

My request would be an option where we can put in the minimal profit in cents before it starts selling without the need to change the cycle cost or a static increase of the buy or sell price. Because ss far as I can determine, that would also have consequences for other cycle behavior.

A static increase would break any accurate cost display. And changing the cycle cost (increasing it) feels counter productive as I want the batt to be used.

To prevent any impact on the cost calculation (battery cycle cost or buy/sell price) I decreased the system efficiency via Node-Red from the default (95%?) to 75%. This way, DESS is less eager to trade with minuscule profits. Your mileage may vary

Still have to play with node-red. first thing there would be a dynamic minimum battery soc or just change it 4 times a year per season.

Currently, with dognose settings being incorporated in the beta I’m just hoping we get a bit more control also. Time will tell, and hence this feature request.

Might use the efficiency trick as a stopgap to stop the minuscule trading, thanks for that idea.
