Following a short, 10-day pause in using my off-grid installation (battery cell balancing and other minor housekeeping jobs…), Lynx Shunt 1000A won’t initialise. The diode is blinking green, ultra fast. Stuck in the initialisation loop. Obviously, Cerbo doesn’t detect the shunt, so currently Quattro 10kW is taking the role of the battery monitor, a scenario that cannot become the long-run solution here.
I have seen one similar situation description on another forum, yet not a single response to it. Has any of you here had to deal with a similar problem?
This only works for the Quattro inverter, as yesterday Lynx wasn’t even detected by Cerbo and so - inactive on the VRM portal. It was listed there still, but red-flagged. I cannot recall if the “upload firmware” button was active and if the VRM remote update procedure was an option.
It just eventually completed the initialisation procedure, but thanks for the suggestion, I’ve now got the firmware file downloaded from Victron’s database and will rely on it, should this happen again.
